We are a small family focused on the joy and fulfillment of raising and breeding high quality, friendly Nigerian Dwarf and Myotonic goats.
We pay strict attention to our herd's dietary needs, health, cleanliness, social needs, and well-being. Our goats' personal Veterinarian, Doctor Hodges (https://www.swissfarmvet.com ) visits us regularly, administers all testing and vaccinations, and provides invaluable advice. He most recently performed ultrasounds on all our does. We are proud to announce, four are expecting kids this spring.
Q: Are your goats registered?
A: Absolutely! We register our Nigerian Dwarf kids through the American Dairy Goat Association and our Myotonic (Fainting) Goats through the Myotonic Goat Registry.
Q: Are your kids socialized?
A: This is our favorite part of doing what we do ~ socializing every single one of our goats. We invite you to visit to help us with this crucial job.
Q: Do you have a waiting list and is there a deposit required?
A: Yes, we have a waiting list at all times. We do not accept deposits until our kids are here and you've had an opportunity to visit, observe, and decide on the kid/s of your choice. At that time, we ask for a 50%, non-refundable, deposit.

We put ourselves in the shoes of the first time pet or 4H/FFA owners before making any breeding decisions and in all our handling practices. Our kids are not ready to leave our acreage until they are fully weaned, vet-cleared, and have graduated, with honors from "How To Be A Goat" school as provided by their mothers and other elders in our herd.

"Nigerian dwarf goats are good mothers and typically deliver easily and unassisted. They commonly have 1 to 4 kids at one freshening, even up to 5, 6 or 7 kids. However, not all the kids typically survive with higher multiple births. A doe can support up to 4 kids in good living conditions without supplementing the kids." http://www.prairiecreekkids.com/nigerian-goats
Due to our hands-on and loving approach to raising and caring for our goats, our kids are adopted quickly. Reach out or, better yet, visit to reserve your kid or ask any questions.
